Hi, I’m Reetta. I started InPeace Psychotherapy & Counselling in Byron Bay to help clients experience life-changing breakthroughs in a safe and supportive environment.

My approach is centred on empowering clients with practical tools and strategies they can use long after therapy, helping them become self-sufficient and confident in navigating life’s challenges. Rather than aiming to “fix” anyone, I focus on creating a space where your way of being is understood and respected.

I became a psychotherapist in Byron Bay because I truly believe everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life, overcome challenges and experience contentment and inner peace. I am passionate about helping people gain self-awareness and practical tools that empower them to create the life they want. I believe therapy is one of the greatest investments you can make, offering the chance to understand yourself more deeply, navigate life’s challenges with ease and confidence and make the most of being in this world.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors, experimenting with new recipes, getting lost in a book or having fun with my family and friends.

About InPeace, a Byron Bay psychotherapy and counselling practice

A compassionate, evidence-based approach to therapy, guided by empathy and grounded in science.

My approach is person-centred, neuro-affirming and integrative, drawing on a wide range of evidence-based therapies, such as Schema Therapy, DBT, ACT, CBT, Family Systems, Mindfulness and somatic practices. However, most importantly, I listen deeply to the unique story of each client and shape therapy to fit them, not the other way around.

They reflect the foundation of how I work - with warmth and high professional standards at all times.

Authenticity – I bring genuineness and normality to every session, being open and down-to-earth so you can trust the therapeutic relationship and feel safe exploring whatever comes up for you.

Compassion - I approach every client with compassion, offering a non-judgmental space where your experiences and emotions are truly understood and valued.

Inclusivity - I’m committed to an affirming, neuro-inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds, identities and experiences feel genuinely seen, respected and supported to be themselves.
